Have you got my last reply and new project? I'm not quite sure what you mean by "where the crap in the capture windows came from" , you mean that you can edit something in the capture window?

With the detail page:

You only need to select the picture then create the image element, not sure which picture did you talk about that you stuck on , please you give me a example page and attach a screen shot for this?

We only provide online document that 's always containing latest changes based on latest version,

you can search any resource on the link:

Thanks, I've now been able to build the first stage of the project, and pull the more straight-forward data off all three page formats. This version is attached.

Where I'm stuck now is attempting to access the picture data which (even in the simplest case - where these is only a single picture ) is complicated by the fact that as soon as you mouse over the image the action invokes a magnification routine.

The action needed is to emulate  a left click, followed by navigation down the new page to the image, followed by another left-click, followed , by an image capture of the linked picture.

I *think* these links have to be defined as additional lower-level templates, but I can't figure out how to do it (if this is the right technique).

(2) I there a way to download the on-line documentation as a single document?

(3) I don't see a "search" function at the forums. Am I missing something obvious?

- Thanks

OK, making progress here,  your suggestions have been very helpful. The good news is that once this project is set up t he design should be pretty static.

The next step us to allow the extraction to advance through all pages, using  the page select button at the bottom of the each page listing individual items.

I *think* what I need to do is to create a new parent template to perform this action, but I don't seem to be able to get the existing template and it's elements properly nested within a  new page advance template using the Edit ---> Create New Template function.  (Also, even with the item list set at the site to 25 items per page, it's tough to test with the output limited to 100 elements.)

Can you modify the attached project to implement page advance, and explain very briefly how you did it?

- Thanks

Shimano XTR After Picture Link Before Page

I don't seem to find the 'page select button' at page bottom, might I need to log in then be able to see it?

if you can see the page select button, you can add a PageNavigation template to iterate through all pages.
regarding to the limits for trial version, you can further test to limit the count of list for "Auction Item List" link template (in List tab).

BTW, I have NO idea where the crap in the capture windows came from - it appears to have been inserted by the screen grab utility.

Have you made the project by yourself? I'm thinking that you can set those rest of elements as you expected, a good practice is that you activate the 'Navigate in browser' button then type in specific page url where contains those elements in different cases (e.g, auction, buy it now..etc.), then deactivate 'Navigate in browser' button back to edit mode, furthermore, you can create those element on that specific page.

if you cannot finish this, please you attach the unfinished project and also give me those specific page urls, then I can reach those elements .. thanks.

No log in required, I've logged out, and see  the screen navigation buttons OK.

A screen grab is attached, along with the current version of the project.

This version properly extracts data for each auction on one page, but that's it.

I've read through the documentation linked to above, and (I think) understand how this is *supposed* to work, but I cannot find a successful way to advance through the pages-  hopefully you can modify this project to do so, and provide me with an example of how to set this up type of page manipulation.

Thanks as always for your assistance,

Michael Thomas

See the attached new project.

I've added the 'next page' Page navigation template .
