Couple different issues including content transformation.

Submitted: 12/16/2015

So, couple issues. I'm sure some are very simple fixes i just have e probably overlooked. When running the rip, Xpath id is showing in the data output which i don't want to, where do i disable that from occurring.

When performing content transformation on elements in the rip, the capture content window shows what the desired transformation will do but is outputting nothing when actually running the rip, while no transformation outputs the untransformed data just fine. Am not sure why this is the case. Included an example of the issue in the captured elements.

I realize other parts of the rip are incomplete at the end, is a work in progress to expand the list to include times so i can pull time along with the value for that time.

Any help would appreciated.

Please check the attached new project.

I've set content transformation regex scripts for "values again after bars" element, actually, you did that already, I just made a little bit change.

Then I set a 'script' element to check the value of "values again after bars" element, if it's emepty , then set to 0.

Attached output that the rip currently outputs. Goal of the project is to grab the height values from the histogram per day as well as the time, whether by position in the histogram or the actual time itself. The bottom row in the output is just test values from the first page area template to make sure i could grab the information, the actual data i am wanting is the first 18 rows of values, <div></div> etc. I want the conetnt transform those to be 0, 0, 0, 0, 17, 26, 32, 34, 35, 40, 42, 39, 35, 29, 18, 0 , 0, 0... according to the attached output. When i attempt to transform them i get nothing in the positions with no actual numbers, would need at least space holder blanks.

Edit: Changed transformation and now produces blanks where no height attribute is found, and numbers accordingly. Is there a way to put conditionals into the transformation code, such as, if blank return 0, so i would get the desired output?

Is there any sample output records for clarify your problem? I'm not quite understanding exactly what your purpose is , which element uses transformation , which field cannot be exported as expected? can you please give me specific guidiance for your template design ?
