project yielding unexpected download

Submitted: 2/16/2017

project logs in correctly and appears to work. but the excel file downloaded contains the login credentials rather than the report data.

I will upload project and results file. Also, attempted to use drop down field selecction as file name, but that didn't work either.

I appreciate your direction.

When I try to download the spreadsheet in chrome. it seems it took a long time if you use a date search form Jul 2, 2005 to Jul 22, 2036. Have you try to narrow the search?

However, downloading the file in the site is still very tricky and we are working on it to solve the problem as the download part uses only image as a link and we will try to do something like injecting a script if possible to download the file.

Best regards,

The data set isn't that large (900 records) and the date range is just to include them all.

Actual applicable date range is really 01/01/2007 thru 12/31/2022 (though it changes daily)

Hi Mark,

To changed the directory of you saved files, go to Project Options, Project data tab and specify the location. The directory for saved files and excel output is different.

For file name, yes, you can apply script for filename transformation,

I see the downloaded excel file with correct details, but there are two issues:

1. it is not being saved to the custom directory - a different excel document gets saved there containing just the login details (file attached).

2. the correct file is saved here "C:\Users\administrator.D179434\Documents\Visual Web Ripper\Output\StellarSupport2\Files"

with a bad file name fileb94dc437206b4e5b8c4fd3c232b05ec6.xls. I need this name to be consistent (StellarSupport.xls).

I'm thinking I can handle number to with a file download transformation script ?

Please advise.
