Temporary Internet Files get cached although they should not

Submitted: 5/8/2017
Hi,

we recently have to use the Browser Mode for some of our larger projects. This resulted in the Temporary Internet Files growing bigger and bigger. The Folder  local user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE grows larger every day and needs to be deleted on a regular basis.

We tried to deactivate chaching of Browser data in the VWR (Projects Options > Misc > Webpage cache: Never) as well as in the IE 11 we have installed on our system (Internet Options > General > Browser History > Options > Temporary Internet Files > HHD space to use: 50 MB, Sites are never to be updated)

Can you please advise, how we can prevent caching of data?

Thanks

Max

Hi Max,

Deactivating the Webpage cache will usually fix this. Please attached your file agent file here so we can take a look on it.
