Setitng the data export file name via command line

Submitted: 2/13/2017

I want to run multiple threads of the same project from the command line. the export data is an xml file.
I'm looking for a way to set theoutput file name when i run the project  so each thread will have it's own output file.

Can i do this using input parameters or maybe a differnt way?

another option might be to add a timestamp to the output file in the "Data Export" menu before i run the Agents. However , my program does not know the file name After running the Agent.

Any Ideas?

Hi Matan,

It could be difficult to do this. You have to insert a trigger script command to the agent to tell that the project running 1st time, 2nd time, and so on.

Your only option is the timestamp in the youput file. and rename it using batch naming script.

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish in the scrape, but the best way is to make multiple agent with separate input parameter for different name.

Best regards,

I managed to find what I was looking using an initiallization script.
using "args.ExportDataConfiguration.FilePath" allows me to change output file name dynamically.
