Thanks SImon for the input. I have a coupon database of roughly 500 coupons. An example would be I want to know what the cost of the Perdue Nuggets are for the current week on the Shoprite website. I would go to this link: http://shop.shoprite.com/Shop.aspx?strid=3572346
in the search type Perdue Nuggets. It would then come back with several different types of nuggets, last week they were priced at $4.79, but this week they are priced at $2.57. I am guessing that the page stays the same and just the prices are just updated. I just noticed that there is no way to copy the page link to identify it. DOes that make sense? HOw would or could I use Web Ripper?
I dont want to manually update any links after the original linking of coupon to the data (item with price). I would like for it to update week after week with the items current pricing until the coupon expires. I will manually update any linking of data with the coupons, but again just would like to pull the current pricing off of roughly 500 items each week. If possible and I can use Web Ripper, navigate to the page of the item, use Web Ripper to track the page price, and then each week have it pull the current price of the item.
See attached pic...The two items circled in green I would want to track, I would set up the "connection" and then hope that each week it would automatically refresh with the pricing information.
DOes this help?
