process fails without warning

Submitted: 7/6/2017

I have a problem with a batch process. I have a series of projects put in a batch to run sequentially but, randomly, one fails and returns me a 14kb empty file.

All the projects work, I have tried them one by one, but it gives the impression that the network stays hung or something like that.

Is there any way to avoid this or at least  to notify the failure in any way?

The data download is first several steps of a task that I try to automate, but it fails in such a way that I have to be aware of it.

Regards, and thank you very much

Can you attach the sample agents or possibly your batch file? It seems to me that it is not only the network problem. If the problem is the network, you can put a delay in your batch file, say several minutes after finishing one agent. This ensures that the agent finishes the scrape before firing the next one. You can make an email notification in each agent if it runs successfully and you can use email notification if your to about the status run.

Best regards,

I have solved the problem by checking the downloaded files automatically, and creating a script that executes again the ones that are not correct but when running automatically (a bat file executed remotely by ssh) gives me an error that I do not understand

Initializing Visual Web Ripper

[ Security context: Zoomlabs \ RFuentes

And do not run Visual web Ripper, but the same hand-launched bat works correctly

Why it does not work?

It seems there is a problem on credentials on user account or in ssh that preventing the VWR to execute. You can schedule the bat file to run in specified time, but now sure if this is what you need.

Best regards,
